We have listened to our customers. We have learnt from our experiences. We understand that nothing is riskier than maintaining the status quo. We have decided to shake off the embers of tradition and to innovate.
As Ketan Kapoor, Co-founder of Mercer-Mettl once said “Innovation takes birth in sync with the evolution of customers’ expectations and demands or vice versa. Either way, organizations around the world have to continually innovate themselves and keep up with the people’s wants. The failure to do so or being indifferent to your customer’s need will make your competitors win. And then suddenly, customers become indifferent to you- a high-risk gamble to play at.”
We have launched Vigilink– a workforce management application which has transformed the way we do business with our customers. The application has automated our operational and workforce management and has enabled Guarding Professionals (GP) to improve our customer’s experience by 90%. This innovation is in response to what our customers want.
An hour before a scheduled shift, the application will prompt the security officer to pre-check for his or her shift. Both GP and the client will be notified in real time that the security officer is or will be on their way. The operational team and the client can track the security officer in real time until the application books the staff on duty upon reaching 5 meters radius of the site. The application does our hourly check call. This has virtually removed ‘missed check calls’. Changes to rosters do not have to be communicated by telephone or emails. The system will automatically update the dashboard which is visible to the client and its operational team.
Incidents including photos can also be reported in real time from the application. We are also able to measure our carbon footprint using this application.
Our innovation has increased our transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
